Hello family,
I am testing this idea out where I journal a bit about everyday occurrences that are electronic instead of in a paper journal, which could get lost or disappear. Also, if we have more kids than just Victor, everyone gets a copy of mommy's thoughts. No fighting over this diary. Haha
Well as I'm writing first entry, I'm holding sleeping Victor who has spent the day talking so much!! Well babble is the more correct term, but nonetheless, communication is on the horizon. He even held his little fist out to give daddy a fist bump. Several times!! Now that can't be a coincidence hehe
Mommy worked on her YouTube channel this morning while daddy watched Victor. Daddy gets a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants lesson on what mommy does on a daily basis. Haha
So far, Victor has an uncanny ability to prefer mommy's style of putting down for nap than daddy's and he makes his preference known. Very loudly. It isn't a little rejection. It's an all out eruption until he has his exact needs met exactly how he likes it haha. Daddy is trying really hard. Once baby Victor who is almost 11weeks (omg almost at the 3 month mark!!!) gets what he wants, he's quite happy and appreciative and not crying much at all. He's someone who knows what he wants and how he wants it. My clever boy <3
I love holding you close while burping you. I sneak in hugs as often as possible. When we are playing ie getting gas out, I squeeze your chunky thighs and arms. They are getting slowly chunkier each week and it makes me happy to know the breast milk is working!
My little boy loves his baths and immediately calms down the moment we step into the bathroom knowing that water is running for him. Even being held over his tub, he has the biggest grin and relaxes instantly once in the water. He acclimates to the warm water and starts kicking up waves endlessly.
The warm bath helps relax my little baby and readies him for sleep. Once swaddled and in my arms, he falls asleep in under 2 minutes where I could put him down in his bassinet, but I don't mind holding him for just a bit longer. Just savoring the baby huggle time. Good night, my dearest prince.
